9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A trough of low pressure will linger around the south China coast today. A strong easterly airstream will reach the coast of Guangdong today, bringing heavy showers and thunderstorms to the region. With the trough of low pressure weakening, showers will ease off gradually over eastern Guangdong in the following couple of days. An anticyclone aloft over the northern part of the South China Sea is expected to strengthen, and it will become brighter over Guangdong during the weekend and early next week.
