9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Barijat will move across the vicinity of Leizhou Peninsula today. Super Typhoon Mangkhut is expected to move across the western North Pacific. Its outer subsiding air will bring generally fine and very hot weather to Guangdong on Friday and early Saturday. Mangkhut will enter the South China Sea and edge closer the coast of Guangdong over the weekend. The associated heavy rain, squalls and storm surge will pose threat to the region.
