9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An anticyclone aloft will cover southern China today and tomorrow. The weather will be mainly fine and very hot over the region. A broad area of low pressure is expected to bring unsettled weather to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next few days. Tropical Cyclone Lekima will intensify gradually and move towards the vicinity of Taiwan in the next couple of days. It will then edge towards the coast of Fujian to Zhejiang. Under the influence of the outer subsiding air of Lekima, it will remain very hot over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of this week.
