9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The tropical cyclone over the northern part of the South China Sea will move across the seas south of Hainan Island today, and linger over the region in the following couple of days. Under the combined effect of the tropical cyclone and the continental anticyclone, it will be windy with heavy showers and swells over the south China coast and the northern part of the South China Sea midweek this week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Lingling to the east of the Philippines will move in the general direction of the seas east of Taiwan in the next couple of days.
