9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A fresh easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong today. An anticyclone aloft is expected to cover the coast of southeastern China in the latter part of this week. Showers will ease off and the weather will be hot over the region. A southwesterly airstream will bring thundery showers to the region early to midweek next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Vongfong will move across the Philippines in the latter part of this week and enter the northeastern part of the South China Sea, and then move towards the vicinity of the Luzon Strait.
