9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A dry northeast monsoon will persist over the south China coast in the next couple of days. It will be generally fine over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Goni will move across Luzon and enter the central part of the South China Sea today and tomorrow. The associated band of clouds will affect the northern part of the South China Sea midweek this week. Another surge of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach southern China in the latter part of this week. Also, Tropical Cyclone Atsani will move across the seas east of the Philippines in the next few days and intensify gradually. Its subsequent movement and intensity remain uncertain.
