9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The weather will be generally fine and very hot over southern China today. Tropical Cyclone Conson will move across the South China Sea in the next few days in the general direction of Hainan Island. Squally showers and thunderstorms associated with Conson will affect the coast of Guangdong on Friday. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Chanthu over the western North Pacific will move in the general direction of Taiwan and Luzon Strait in the next couple of days. It may then enter the northeastern part of the South China Sea and interact with Conson. The weather will remain unsettled over the coast of southeastern China during the weekend and early next week.
