9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will affect southern China this week. The weather will be generally fine and very dry over the coastal areas today and tomorrow. It will be cooler in the morning and at night. With the monsoon moderating slightly, temperatures over the coast of Guangdong will rise towards the weekend. The area of low pressure over the seas east of the Philippines is expected to develop gradually, and move across the central part of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of this week. However, its development and movement remain uncertain. Besides, another area of low pressure over the western North Pacific may also develop into a tropical cyclone, and edge closer to the vicinity of the Luzon Strait early next week.
