9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A dry northeast monsoon will persist over the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. The area of low pressure over the central to southern parts of the South China Sea will develop gradually in the next couple of days and move towards the vicinity of Vietnam. A replenishment of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach southern China on Sunday. Besides, another area of low pressure over the western North Pacific will develop into a tropical cyclone, and move across the Luzon Strait on Sunday. However, there are uncertainties in its subsequent development. Under their combined effect, it will be windy and become cooler over the coastal areas early to midweek next week.
