9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will persist over southern China this week. Tropical Cyclone Nalgae is expected to move across the northern part of the South China Sea and edge closer to the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. Under the combined effect of Nalgae and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy with occasional squally showers and there will be swells over the region in the next couple of days. Besides, the area of low pressure over the western North Pacific will develop into a tropical cyclone gradually and move towards the vicinity of the seas east of the Philippines in the next couple of days.
