9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will persist over southern China this week. Tropical Cyclone Nalgae is expected to edge closer to the coast of western Guangdong in the next couple of days. Under the combined effect of Nalgae and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy with occasional squally showers and there will be swells over the region in the next couple of days. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Banyan over the western North Pacific will move towards the vicinity of the seas east of the Philippines today and tomorrow.
