9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon now affecting Guangdong will moderate over the weekend. Temperatures will rise over the coastal areas. A strong northeast monsoon is expected to affect the coast of southern China early to midweek next week. It will be windy with cool mornings over the region. Under the influence of a replenishment of the monsoon, it will remain cool in the morning over Guangdong in the latter part of next week. Besides, the area of low pressure over the seas east of the Philippines is expected to develop gradually in the next couple of days and move in the general direction of Luzon.
