9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will affect the coast of southern China in the next couple of days. Morning temperatures will fall slightly over the region. A broad area of low pressure will develop gradually over the central part of the South China Sea towards the weekend, and move in the general direction of the vicinity of Hainan Island and the seas south of it. Under the combined effect of the northeast monsoon and the low-pressure system, it will be windier with a few showers over the coast of Guangdong during the weekend.
