9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Wipha over the northern part of the South China Sea will move towards the vicinity of western Guangdong today and tomorrow. The associated heavy squally showers and thunderstorms will affect the coast of Guangdong. It will be windy, and seas will be rough with swells over the region. With Wipha departing, showers will lessen over the coast of Guangdong during the weekend. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to linger over the northern part of the South China Sea early next week, and will bring unsettled weather to the region.
