9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The tropical cyclone over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea will move towards the vicinity of Hainan Island to Beibu Wan today and tomorrow. It will be windy with squally heavy showers and thunderstorms over the south China coast. Seas will be rough with swells. An active southerly airstream is expected to bring unsettled weather to the coast of Guangdong early to midweek next week. With the westward extension of the subtropical ridge, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong in the latter part of next week.
