9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the dominance of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be generally fine and very hot over southeastern China during the weekend. A southwesterly airstream is expected to affect the south China coast next week and gradually become active in the middle and latter parts of next week. Showers will increase and there will be thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong. The area of low pressure now over the Luzon Strait will develop gradually in the next few days.
