9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The tropical cyclone over the central to northern parts of the South China Sea will move in the general direction of the vicinity of Hainan Island today and tomorrow and intensify gradually. Under the combined effect of the tropical cyclone and the northeast monsoon, there will be heavy rain and thunderstorms over the south China coast on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will be windy and seas will be very rough with swells. An anticyclone aloft is expected to strengthen in the latter part of this week, rain will ease off over the coast of Guangdong.
