9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The trough of low pressure now affecting the coast of southern China will weaken gradually tomorrow. There will be a few showers and sunny intervals during the weekend over the region. A southwesterly airstream is expected to bring showers to the coast of Guangdong early to midweek next week. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will improve and it will be very hot over the region in the latter part of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Champi over the western North Pacific will move in the general direction of the seas south of Japan in the next couple of days.
