9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The trough of low pressure now affecting the coast of southern China will weaken gradually today. There will be a few showers and sunny intervals over the region during the weekend. A southwesterly airstream is expected to bring showers to the coast of Guangdong early to midweek next week. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will improve and it will be very hot over the region in the latter part of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Champi over the western North Pacific will move across the seas south of Japan in the next couple of days and transform into an extratropical cyclone gradually.
