9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An anticyclone aloft will bring mainly fine and very hot weather to southern China today. The anticyclone aloft is expected to weaken slightly midweek this week and there will be a few showers over the region. With the subtropical ridge extending westwards, the weather will be generally fine over the coast of southeastern China in the latter part of this week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Omais will move across the East China Sea, towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula and evolve into an extratropical cyclone gradually today and tomorrow.
