9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A fresh to strong easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, it will be generally fine and hot over southern China. A broad area of low pressure is expected to develop gradually into a tropical cyclone over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of this week, and will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong. The northeast monsoon will affect southern China in the latter part of this week to early next week. Under the combined effect of the two systems, it will be windy over the coast of southern China.
