9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: With the northeast monsoon moderating gradually, temperatures over Guangdong will rise slightly today and tomorrow. Another surge of the northeast monsoon is expected to affect southern China in the latter part of this week. The weather will become cool over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Rai over the western North Pacific will intensify gradually. It will move in the general direction of the southern part of the Philippines and enter the South China Sea in the next few days. It is expected to turn to a northerly track and weaken gradually. However, its subsequent movement remains uncertain. The cloud band associated with Rai will bring rainy weather to the northern part of the South China Sea early to midweek next week.
