It will become cold appreciably over the region. The associated intense winter monsoon will bring persistently cold weather during the weekend to midweek next week. Besides, upper-air disturbances will bring unsettled weather to southern China from Saturday to early next week. With the upper-air disturbances departing, the weather will improve over the region in the latter part of next week.
