9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: With the anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will be generally fine and remain hot over the coastal areas of southern China in the next couple of days. A surge of the northeast monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong early next week. Besides, a tropical cyclone may form over the central to southern parts of the South China Sea over the weekend to early next week, and there are uncertainties in its movement and intensity. The weather is expected to be windy with more showers, and the temperatures will be slightly lower over the coast of southern China next Sunday and Monday.
