9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the dominance of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be generally fine and remain hot over the coastal areas of southern China in the next couple of days. A surge of the northeast monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong early next week. Besides, a broad area of low pressure will affect the central and southern parts of the South China Sea over the weekend to early next week. Whether it will develop into a tropical cyclone is uncertain, but the associated rainbands are expected to affect the northern part of the South China Sea and coastal areas of southern China early next week.
