9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the dominance of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be generally fine and remain hot over the coastal areas of southern China today and tomorrow. A surge of the northeast monsoon will reach Guangdong on Sunday. Besides, heavy showers associated with a broad area of low pressure will affect the northern part of the South China Sea and the coastal areas of southern China early next week, but whether the area of low pressure will develop into a tropical cyclone remains uncertain.
