9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The southwest monsoon will continue to bring showers to the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is expected to develop over the northern part of southern China and it will linger over the coastal areas in the middle and latter parts of next week, bringing heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the region.
