9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A trough of low pressure will linger over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of this week, bringing heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the region. Under the influence of the southwest monsoon, there will still be a few showers over Guangdong during the weekend. With the anticyclone aloft over the western North Pacific extending westwards early next week, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong.
