9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A trough of low pressure will continue to bring heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong today. With the trough of low pressure moving northwards gradually towards inland areas during the weekend, showers will ease off over the coastal areas early next week. Meanwhile, under the influence of the southwesterly airstream, the weather will be hot over the region. The trough of low pressure is expected to edge closer to the coast of southern China again midweek next week, and bring unsettled weather to the region.
