9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The tropical cyclone over eastern Guangdong will move across Guangdong and weaken gradually today. Its associated heavy squally showers and thunderstorms will affect southern China in the next couple of days. With the tropical cyclone departing, showers will lessen over the region on Sunday and Monday. Another area of low pressure is expected to bring unsettled weather to the South China Sea early to midweek next week and may develop into a tropical cyclone, but there are uncertainties in its track and intensity.
