9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Ma-on will move towards the coast of western Guangdong today. There will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the region. The weather will be windy and seas will be very rough with swells, and will bring storm surge. Ma-on will make landfall and move further away from Hong Kong gradually later today. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening gradually, the weather will improve over the coastal areas of Guangdong during the weekend and early next week.
