9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Danas will move slowly over the northeastern part of the South China Sea at first, and accelerate northeastwards later in the general direction of the vicinity of Taiwan Strait to the western coast of Taiwan. Very hot weather and showers triggered by high temperatures will affect Guangdong in the next couple of days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong in the middle to latter parts of this week. With the trough of low pressure weakening, showers will ease off gradually and the weather will improve over the weekend.
