9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the persistent influence of the northeast monsoon and its replenishment, the weather will be generally fine and very dry over southern China in the middle and latter parts of this week. It will be cool in the morning, with a rather large temperature difference between day and night. Besides, the tropical cyclone now over the Philippines will continue to develop and move westwards today. It will move across the central and southern parts of the South China Sea in the general direction of the vicinity of Vietnam and the seas south of Hainan Island in the middle and latter parts of this week, weakening gradually. A band of clouds will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea early next week.
