9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The subtropical ridge will continue to bring very hot weather to inland Guangdong tomorrow. The tropical cyclone now over the central part of the South China Sea will intensify gradually and move in the general direction of the vicinity of Hainan Island and Beibu Wan in the next couple of days. It will be windy and the weather will become unsettled with squally showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China. There will be swells. Under the influence of an active southerly airstream, it will still be windy with occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong during the weekend to early next week.
