9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Maysak will move in the general direction of the vicinity of Hainan Island to Beibu Wan today and tomorrow. It will be windy with squally showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China. Showers will be heavy at times. There will be swells. Under the influence of an active southerly airstream, it will still be windier and the weather will still be unsettled over the coast of Guangdong early next week. A broad trough of low pressure and upper-air disturbances are expected to continue bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of southern China midweek next week. Tropical Cyclone Bavi over the western North Pacific will move towards the seas east of Taiwan in the latter part of next week. Its subsiding air will bring very hot weather to southern China.
